Iraq Owes France, Germany, and Russia Nothing!
So on NewsHour they were talking about debt forgiveness of Iraq. I don't understand it! Why should we even entertain the thought that Iraq has to pay back countries like France, Germany, and Russia?! Those countries should be ashamed at even the thought So on NewsHour they were talking about debt forgiveness of Iraq. I don't understand it! Why should we even entertain the thought that Iraq has to pay back countries like France, Germany, and Russia?! Those countries should be ashamed at even the thought of collecting debts from the new Iraq!!! From what I understand, a significant portion of the debt is from weapons contracts. Obviously your products didn't work too well, so really maybe you OWE Iraq some money!
The only person that might stillof collecting debts from the new Iraq!!! From what I understand, a significant portion of the debt is from weapons contracts. Obviously your products didn't work too well, so really maybe you OWE Iraq some money!
The only person that might still owe money to France, Germany, and Russia is Saddam Hussein. I say we take that $750,000 we found in the spider hole, and divide it up among France, Germany, and Russia proportionate to what he owed them. But then again, even that money really belongs to owe money to France, Germany, and Russia is Saddam Hussein. I say we take that $750,000 we found in the spider hole, and divide it up among France, Germany, and Russia proportionate to what he owed them. But then again, even that money really belongs to the Iraqi people, not France, Germany, and Russia. When those contracts were made, the PEOPLE of Iraq had little to no say in what those contracts would be, and what the services and goods provided by them would be used for. They couldn't have been used the Iraqi people, not France, Germany, and Russia. When those contracts were made, the PEOPLE of Iraq had little to no say in what those contracts would be, and what the services and goods provided by them would be used for. They couldn't have been used for much good, so why were you doing business there in the first place?!
Maybe they could use it to establish a museum in Baghdad of French, German, and Russian culture. That probably would make them happy. Meanwhile, since the United States ha for much good, so why were you doing business there in the first place?!
Maybe they could use it to establish a museum in Baghdad of French, German, and Russian culture. That probably would make them happy. Meanwhile, since the United States has no culture, the billions of dollars the United States GAVE Iraq (rightly so) will go towards providing desperately needed water infrastructure, hospital construction, and education throughout the great country of Iraq.
Listen Old Europe. If yos no culture, the billions of dollars the United States GAVE Iraq (rightly so) will go towards providing desperately needed water infrastructure, hospital construction, and education throughout the great country of Iraq.
Listen Old Europe. If you do business in countries whose leaders are brutal dictators, you should factor in the fact that maybe one day the countries of the world that want move forward, defeat evil where it exists, and promote justice, freedom, and ultimately GOODNESS...they *u do business in countries whose leaders are brutal dictators, you should factor in the fact that maybe one day the countries of the world that want move forward, defeat evil where it exists, and promote justice, freedom, and ultimately GOODNESS...they *might* even join together one day and overthrow that deptator!
If you were doing business Iraq, you should have well-factored in that risk, with third-party insurance, or otherwise. But when that dictator fell, and ESPECIALLY when you were the tmight* even join together one day and overthrow that deptator!
If you were doing business Iraq, you should have well-factored in that risk, with third-party insurance, or otherwise. But when that dictator fell, and ESPECIALLY when you were the three countries most VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED to the overthrow...save your pride, we're still friends and we'll eventually forgive you, but DON'T send out any invoices!!!!

N.B. I should openly admit that I don't well know (to any scholarly extent) the details and history of these contracts. I'm just relying mostly what I've read in the paper and watched on the news. If you have more information about this subject, please let me know.
P.S. I have many GOOD f know (to any scholarly extent) the details and history of these contracts. I'm just relying mostly what I've read in the paper and watched on the news. If you have more information about this subject, please let me know.
P.S. I have many GOOD friends in France, Germany, and Russia, and this situation does not reflect poorly on them in any way. I do hope they vote for change when the opportunity arrives, just as I plan to do in the near future. (Although, apparently in Russia, voting for changeriends in France, Germany, and Russia, and this situation does not reflect poorly on them in any way.
