I found this site that claims to help advertise people's blogs for free. Not sure if it works well, but check it out if you want.

I agree. I don't think its much worth it. The main problem though is with this site, we don't have the ability to add the script that is required to be a part of this "blog ring." so i don't think its going to work out for joeusers. sorry.
